Research in the field of on-board systems
The research area "Onboard Systems" is concerned with the research and further development of components and complete systems for motor vehicles with a focus on the onboard network. In this context, issues of power supply as well as communication are considered. The demand for a trouble-free operation of all communication systems despite high interference from the power electronic systems of the power engineering establishes the connection to the subject area of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
